At Samshots, destination weddings are some of our favorite weddings to shoot. Whether you're saying "I do" on a beach, in the mountains, or anywhere else in the world, our team of experienced photographers and videographers is ready to travel with you and capture every moment. Below you'll find our hourly coverage pricing, our travel and accommodation details, and answers to the questions we hear most from couples planning a destination wedding.
TRAVEL + ACCOMMODATION INFO
We ask couples to cover round-trip flights for our team plus 3 nights of lodging (2 nights before the wedding and the night of the event), giving us a buffer day to arrive relaxed and ready to shoot. Samshots covers our own rental car, gas, tolls, and meals, as well as any additional nights if the trip extends beyond that window. We typically plan to arrive 2 days before the wedding and depart Sunday morning, unless a next-day session is booked. Our DC-based team is close to BWI, IAD, and DCA airports, which keeps travel simple and flexible for destinations near and far.

How long does it take to get our photos and video? Photo editing is completed in under 30 days, and full video delivery takes up to three months.
