Tucked along the C&O Canal in the heart of Georgetown, the Ritz-Carlton Washington DC is one of the city's most unexpected wedding backdrops — the building started life as a 1920s incinerator plant, and its original smokestack rises dramatically through the lobby today. That mix of industrial character and Ritz-Carlton polish gives every wedding here a look you won't find anywhere else in DC.
I'm proud to be a preferred photographer at the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown, and I love shooting here for exactly that contrast: cobblestone streets and canal views just outside, soaring brick and steel inside, and warm, elegant ballrooms for the reception.
